AI Analysis & Strategic Recommendations
AI Readiness Review (Discover), AI Strategy & Selection (Design), AI Acceptable Use Policy, and the annual AI Benchmark Report — with eleven expanded sub-services rolling out 2026–2027.
Description
A suite of AI engagements designed to give family businesses a practical, vendor-neutral path into the strategic adoption of artificial intelligence. Core services available today include the AI Readiness Review (Discover) — a structured operational assessment mapping processes against AI-ready use cases; AI Strategy & Selection (Design) — financial modeling, vendor evaluation, governance design, and an implementation roadmap; AI Acceptable Use Policy development; and the annual AI Benchmark Report comparing FBC member adoption rates and outcomes.
AI is the single largest competitive opportunity and the single largest unmanaged risk for mid-market family businesses in this decade. Two-thirds of organizations remain stuck at the pilot stage. This category produces a board-ready business case, a phased implementation roadmap, vendor evaluation scorecards, and ongoing access to the FBC’s AI practitioner network — work that would otherwise require six to twelve months of consulting engagement and tens of thousands of dollars.
Future-readiness, without losing identity. Family businesses are uniquely worried that adopting AI will erode the relationships, judgment, and culture that made them succeed in the first place. The FBC’s approach is explicitly to use AI as an enhancement to family-business expertise — not a replacement for it. Members leave the engagement confident that they can adopt AI without becoming someone they are not.
In development for Platinum members and sponsors, each designed with the same vendor-neutrality, governance, and faculty review that defines the FBC’s existing AI services.
